‘Round-Up’ for Humane Indiana!

NORTHWEST INDIANA – April 2023 – Strack & Van Til Food Markets and Town & Country Market are hosting the Checkout Challenge round-up campaign to benefit Humane Indiana Shelter and Adoption Center, Estelle Marcus Clinic, and Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center. Donations made through the Checkout Challenge will touch the lives of more than 20,000 people and 10,000 animals in Indiana.
From Monday, April 10, through Sunday, April 16, Strack & Van Til shoppers will help save the lives of local domestic and wildlife animals by participating in the Strack & Van Til Checkout Challenge. Customers may ask their cashier to ‘round up’ their purchase for the campaign at any Strack & Van Til or Town & Country grocery store in Lake, Porter, and/or Jasper County.
In addition to the Checkout Challenge at all Strack & Van Til stores, at Humane Indiana Resale and Gift Shop, located at 8149 Kennedy Ave. in Highland, IN, customers who shop with a Strack & Van Til grocery store bag will receive 15% off their purchase during the ‘Anything That Fits in a Strack & Van Til Bag Sale’ until Saturday, April 15. Furthermore, from Monday, April 10 through Saturday, April 22, customers who show their ‘round up’ receipt from Strack & Van Til will receive a 15% discount on purchases made at Humane Indiana Resale.
Humane Indiana’s Mobile Adoption Vehicle and team members will be on-site at multiple locations during the Checkout Challenge to give away stickers and say hello!
Humane Indiana helps injured, orphaned, or homeless animals, not just through shelter and adoption, but also through the low-income veterinary clinic, pet food pantry, homelessness prevention, foster care, and wildlife rehabilitation.
There are 22 Strack & Van Til stores throughout Lake, Porter, and Jasper Counties. Town and County Market is in Valparaiso, IN.
