Your Wild Adventure Starts Here

 Wildlife Education Programs
Humane Indiana’s Wildlife Education Programs inspire awareness and respect for the wildlife native to Indiana. Through engaging presentations, we share valuable information on how our communities can safely and responsibly coexist with wildlife. We also offer domestic pet programs to teach children the importance of responsible pet ownership.

Animal Ambassador Programs
Our Animal Ambassador Programs offer a unique, family-friendly way to connect with wildlife. Guests can meet our animal ambassadors—permanent residents that were rescued and rehabilitated but cannot survive in the wild. While our ultimate goal is always release, these special animals now help us teach the community about conservation and coexistence.

All proceeds from our programs directly support the wildlife in our care.

Daily Meet-and-Greets & Wildlife Tours
It’s not every day you get to meet a turkey vulture or snowy owl! At our Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center, you can experience two engaging programs each day, Monday through Saturday (no programs on Sunday):

  • Duration: 20–30 minutes

  • $25 per person

  • Meet one of our animal ambassadors and talk with our wildlife staff in a relaxed, informal setting. Each session features a different ambassador, making every visit a unique experience.

2 p.m. – Wildlife Enclosure Tour

  • Duration: 45 minutes to 1 hour

  • $15 per person

  • Maximum 20 participants
