Humane Indiana Celebrates Love for Animals and Music With Rock n’ Roll-Themed Fundraising Gala

NORTHWEST INDIANA – On March 11, 2023, from 5 - 9 p.m., Humane Indiana will host The Heart of Rock n' Roll fundraising gala at Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana. Funds raised will support the organization's mission of leading the community in the humane treatment of all animals through aiding local communities, shelter pets and wildlife.

“Humane Indiana provides medical care, nutrition and necessities to over 10,000 pets in need and wildlife animals each year,” notes Brian Fitzpatrick, CEO of Humane Indiana. The Shelter and Adoption Center, Estelle Marcus Clinic and Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center also reach and assist 20,000 people annually through crisis care, foster programs and pet care assistance, along with educational community programs.

The Gala will feature rockstar impersonators, a chef-prepared dinner, cocktails and world-class gaming. Attendees will also learn more about Humane Indiana's initiatives, including the pet food pantry, low or no-cost veterinary care for families who qualify, crisis foster care and STEM-based education camps.

As part of the event, beginning in February, the organization will be hosting an online auction at HumaneIndinana.org/gala2023 with the opportunity for supporters to purchase special behind-the-scenes experiences. Then, on Saturday March 11 from 6 – 8 p.m., the public can also join Humane Indiana online for a live silent auction to bid on great prizes such as trips, adventures and rock n’ roll memorabilia.
