Humane Indiana Marks 80th Anniversary with Gala Celebration.
Humane Indiana was founded in 1941 by a small, yet determined group of women who advocated for the welfare of animals. This year is very special as our community honors the memories and milestones made since Humane Indiana began their mission in a small garage in Hammond, IN.
On Saturday, November 6, 2021, from 5 - 9 p.m. at Avalon Manor, celebrate eight decades of service to help homeless pets and orphaned and injured wildlife at Humane Indiana's 80th Anniversary Celebration Gala. Individual tickets are now on sale for this wonderful evening of entertainment and amazing animals. Event tickets include entertainment, games and silent auction, along with appetizers, dinner and hosted bar, with beverage tastings by Three Floyds. During the evening, enjoy meet and greets with Wildlife Animal Ambassadors and adoptable shelter pets. Also available is a limited opportunity for an exclusive VIP experience, which includes an early event entrance of 4:30 p.m., a specially-themed cocktail, beverages from your favorite local breweries and an exclusive photo opportunity with a Humane Indiana Animal Ambassador Owl for VIPs only.
The 2021 Humane Indiana Gala Chairwoman, Lorelei Weimer, is the executive director for Indiana Dunes Tourism. Weimer represents Northern Indiana on the Indiana Tourism Council and is the current treasurer and past president of the Northern Indiana Tourism Commission.
Event sponsorship packages are still available. Table sponsorships, which include a 10-person table, are also available.
