Fall Owl Fest: A Day of Fun, Learning, and Conservation

Join us for a fun fall day with kid-friendly activities while supporting a great cause!

Help raise funds for the preservation of the Grottos at the Friary and witness the release of a rehabilitated Barred Owl back into the wild.

Meet ambassador owls Arya (Barred Owl), Freya (Great Horned Owl), and Casper (Barn Owl), and enjoy an educational talk by Humane Indiana's Wildlife Director, Nicole Harmon.

Explore the grounds, enjoy pumpkin painting, grab lunch from a food vendor, and more!

The event runs from 12-4, at the Friary 12921 Parrish Ave, Cedar Lake, IN 46303. The educational talk is at 1pm and the owl release at 2pm.
