OWL WEEK PARTICIPATION KITS
The Kit includes an official Owl Week t-shirt, a Humane Indiana Wildlife Activity Book, and an owl pellets for our Owl Week dissection workshop. Your Participation Kit may be picked up at our Wildlife Center located at 570 North 450 East in Valparaiso, IN, or you may order your Kit online and opt for shipping. ABOUT OUR OWL PELLETS
Owl pellets consist of undigested hair and bones that owls spit up following a meal. As such, they contain valuable clues to what the owl was eating and the habitat in which the owl was hunting. Identify bones in these barn owl pellets using bone sorting charts or display your findings in the glass-topped displays we also offer. All of our pellets are screened for quality, heat-treated, wrapped in foil, and stored in sealed plastic bags to eliminate infestation by insects.
