Humane Indiana Celebrates Love for Animals and Music With Rock n' Roll-Themed Fundraising Gala

NORTHWEST INDIANA – Feb. 2023 – Six hundred people will attend the upcoming Heart of Rock' n' Roll Gala to raise funds for the mission of Humane Indiana. The event takes place March 11, 2023, from 5 - 9 p.m. at Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana.
Funds raised will support the organization's mission of protecting pets, preserving wildlife and supporting a nurturing connection between people and animals.
Humane Indiana provides shelter/adoption services, animal homelessness prevention, medical services, pet food pantry, pet foster care, wildlife rehabilitation and animal-related science and arts education that impacts more than 10,000 animals and 25,000 people in Northwest Indiana every year.
The Gala will feature rockstar impersonators, chef-prepared dinner, complimentary cocktails and the chance to play with adoptable puppies and see wildlife Ambassador Animals up close. Attendees will also learn more about Humane Indiana's initiatives, including the pet food pantry, low or no-cost veterinary care for families who qualify, crisis foster care and STEM-based education camps.

As part of the event, the organization will host an online silent auction with over 100 chances to win trips, special behind-the-scenes adventures, art, dining experiences, tickets and much more. Examples include a behind-the-scenes tour at the Field Museum, a bathroom remodel, a cooking lesson and in-home meal from a local chef, along with the chance to participate in a wild animal release with Humane Indiana Wildlife.
