HOW OLD SHOULD MY PET BE FOR SPAY/NEUTER SURGERY?
- Puppies may be spayed and neutered as early as 2 months of age.
- Kittens may be spayed and neutered as early as 2 months old and must weigh at least 2 pounds.
- Blood work is recommended for any pet over the age of 6 years.
MY PET JUST HAD A LITTER, WHEN CAN I GET HER SPAYED?
Generally, once a puppy or kitten is over 8 weeks old and completely weaned from mom, it is considered safe to get her spayed. Please call us because we prefer to answer this on a case-by-case basis.
HOW DO I SCHEDULE A SPAY/NEUTER SURGERY FOR MY PET?
